The conditions for creating the Aviation Park of the future could not be better. Saab, FlygMex, Linköping City Airport and NuLink are only a few of the actors involved in this project. The work has already started and sometime around 2014 the vision will become reality.

Linköping Aviation Park will comprise of four parts:

- Linköping City Airport
– General Aviation Center
– A business park
– East Sweden Business Center

Together these parts will create a whole concept and a focus on aviation unique to Sweden. It will become a focal point for aviation – for everybody working in aviation, with aviation, for aviation or thanks to aviation.

Linköping City Airport is one of Northern Europe´s most expansive airports. Today the Airport has a capacity for 200,000 passengers per year, a figure which is expected to increase considerably when the new runway and terminal building are completed. From Linköping City Airport more than 350 destinations worldwide become accessible via Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Riga.

The General Aviation Center will become a common platform for the region´s business and private aviation as well as aero clubs. This is where you will keep your private jet. And if your plane requires servicing you no longer need to fly to various aviation engineers located on the Continent – you will find everything here.

The Business Park will be buzzing with ideas, creativity and confidence in the future. The member companies will have one thing in common: their faith in aviation and the opportunities it offers.
